Business Support

The Charles County Department of Economic Development' s (EDD) business retention and expansion (BRE) team helps local companies, business owners, and entrepreneurs navigate and tap into the many local, regional, state, and federal resources for business assistance. From workforce matters to sources of financing to networking to resources for growing business and more - the EDD BRE team helps connect local businesses with the right agency or organization to address their needs.

In addition to our network of resource partners, the EDD is part of a "Circle of Services" that includes experts who can provide assistance and information on a wide range of business issues. The BRE team can help identify which of these resources are most suitable.
