Charles County Public Schools comprise 36 schools and four educational centers:

  • 21 Elementary Schools
  • 8 Middle Schools
  • 7 High Schools

  • Robert D. Stethem Educational Center
  • Nanjemoy Creek Environmental Center
  • Adult Education Program at Lifelong Learning Center

Charles County Public Schools offer a balanced curriculum, equipping students with the critical thinking and communication skills essential to success. Our schools address the demand for a future-focused workforce, emphasizing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), cyber security, robotics, and coding.

The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is a regionally-accredited community college offering a variety of learning options, student services, and workforce development support. Designed in response to workforce needs, CSM’s programs in computer science, cyber security, homeland security, and information systems keep the talent pipeline primed for success.

The University of Maryland Extension comprises the off-campus educational arm of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
