Lacey Herbert joined the Charles County Economic Development Department (EDD) in 2012 and serves as the administrative support for the entire Department. Prior to joining EDD, Ms. Herbert worked for the Charles County Government's Department of Planning and Growth Management. Among the many skills that Lacey brings to the team is her experience, vast understanding and use of the County's software, and extensive knowledge of Charles County Government systems, procedures, contacts, and people.

Ms. Herbert also manages the payroll for the department and updates several of the databases used by the Department.
Ms. Herbert holds a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) accredited certification and a professional designation with the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), an Administrative Professional Expert Certification with the Progressive Business Institute, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
