Medical cannabis is here, and with it will come a whirlwind of business opportunities for Charles County. It’s vital our community is educated and equipped with the right tools for success, to have the chance to leverage this industry, as well as have a hand in fueling economic development in the region.
The Fall Meeting will incorporate a panel discussion dedicated to the medical cannabis industry in Charles County. "Medical cannabis is coming to Maryland, and I believe there are many ancillary or supporting businesses that have the opportunity to benefit from this industry if they are prepared economically," said Shad Ewart, moderator of the Medical Cannabis panel at the Fall Meeting.
The focus is tailored to how business owners can take advantage of the abundant opportunities. Attendees will learn about Maryland’s medical cannabis system and how it will function in a business setting, how to increase sales by targeting the industry, and what future expansion legalization could mean for their businesses. Panelists will also address the potential controversy behind the industry.
