Business Outreach Committee Connects Businesses and Government

Posted by: Economic Development Team on Thursday, March 3, 2022

Our Business Outreach Committee (BOC) was formed a year ago to focus on the issues our Charles County businesses are facing post COVID-19 and help encourage and advance economic opportunity for our local businesses and residents. Members of the committee include local business owners, business organizations, and nonprofits. All represent a variety of industries and bring unique perspectives to the table.

The BOC was formed when the Economic Development Department’s Recovery Task Force submitted its final report in March 2021 to Charles County Government and recommended measures to support business operations through the COVID crisis and beyond. The BOC continues the work of the Task Force and will implement their recommendations.
