Charles County held its 2020 Fall Meeting on November 10th, 2020. Regional economists, Charles County businesses, and stakeholders gathered to discuss “Building A New and Better Normal” in Charles County’s economic landscape.
Highlights of the Fall Meeting included hearing from keynote speaker Anirban Basu, economist and CEO of Sage Policy Group, who gave us an in-depth update on Maryland’s economic performance over the last year, and provided insights on trends and predictions for 2021 and beyond; the "2020 Pivot Plan" with Jay Garner of Garner Economics; and exploring opportunities for innovation, flexibility, and embracing change in the “The Future of Normal” panel discussion.
