In 2017, the value of U.S. exported goods to Sub-Saharan Africa rose to $14 billion dollars—a number that will continue to climb in this growing economy. Africa offers dozens of diverse markets and a favorable trading climate for U.S. products and services. Ian Oliver

Ian Oliver has 20 years’ experience in international enterprise development, new market entry, international sales, and corporate responsibility programs on behalf of American businesses expanding or establishing investments abroad. As Director of Client Services at ISI Consultants, Oliver works with clients to ensure that market entry and growth are optimized by a grasp of conditions on the ground. An expert in emerging markets, he travels regularly to target areas to identify partners and distributors, solicit local government support, and implement business development activities.

Oliver previously held positions with several businesses and development organizations. He spearheaded growth of international portfolios through new market development, strategic planning and marketing, and project implementation.

A member of the Washington, DC-Virginia District Export Council, Oliver promotes the US Commerce Department’s exporting efforts. He is a frequent trainer and speaker at international trade events.


Ross Ensor

Ross Ensor boasts over 20 years’ expertise building, expanding, and revamping the international sales, marketing, and operations of companies worldwide. Ensor has supported an array of industries in more than 80 countries throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. As Managing Director of ISI Consultants, he and his team provide marketing and business development solutions for companies wishing to enter or expand in Middle Eastern and African markets.

Ensor previously served as Vice President – Corporate International Director at a ‘Top 10’ architecture and engineering firm with projects in over 75 countries. Ensor also held senior positions in the technology, manufacturing, and healthcare industries in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.

Born in London, Ensor is a dual citizen of the UK and the US. Living in various places throughout Europe, the US, and the Middle East has always informed his business perspective.
