Business Appreciation Week Business Resource Webinar
The Charles County Economic Development Department is kicking off its 2021 Business Appreciation Week with a Business Resource Webinar on May 9th at 9 AM. This free, 45- minute, interactive session will showcase local business resources and include representatives from: the Maryland SBDC, CSM Workforce Center, Charles County Chamber of Commerce, Southern Maryland Minority Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Services, TEDCO, La Plata Business Associations, Western Charles County Business Association, business to business networking groups, and Southern Maryland Innovates. After a round-robin-style introduction from each partner, attendees will be permitted to ask questions in an open-forum format. The SLBE Program is a race and gender-neutral program to promote the procurement of goods and services from qualified small businesses in Charles County. This webinar details the registration and certification process. This seminar will also cover the different methods the Charles County Government uses for buying a variety of goods and servcies.
