Anthony Adesina

Business Retention and Expansion Manager

Anthony Adesina serves as Business Retention and Expansion Manager with the Charles County Economic Development Department. His responsibilities include supporting business growth and retention, providing initiatives and strategies for business expansion domestically and internationally, and promoting Charles County as a viable business destination.

Prior to joining the Department in January 2022, Mr. Adesina worked with and supported the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration/Global Markets (ITA/GM) Business Unit where he managed domestic and global business growth and expansion projects on behalf of U.S. businesses across Nigeria and the Sub-Sahara Africa region.

Mr. Adesina holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Lagos State University, Nigeria; a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Studies from London Metropolitan University, UK; and an MBA from the University of Southampton, UK.

In his spare time, Mr. Adesina enjoys travelling, networking, and reading.
