Chastity Durham-Miller
Small and Minority Business Development Specialist
Chastity Durham-Miller serves as the Small and Minority Business Development Specialist for the Charles County Economic Development Department (EDD). In her role she coordinates and manages the Small and Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) and Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) programs. She maintains familiarity with major employers, businesses, industry clusters, County assets, important initiatives, and other matters potentially affecting location and retention decisions as needed to support business development.
Ms. Durham-Miller brings over a decade of experience in federal agencies, NGOs, and private organizations, with a track record of effectively managing load processes from application to approval. She most recently worked for the Office of Disaster Assistance, Processing and Disbursement Center (PDC) as a loan specialist.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies from Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY.
A native of New York, Durham-Miller moved to Maryland in 2006. She likes to travel, cook, bake, and volunteer in her community with family and friends and spending time with her husband and two boys.
