Jennifer Reginald serves as the Marketing Coordinator with the Charles County Economic Development Department (EDD). Her responsibilities include developing and coordinating content for the monthly e-newsletter, creating and posting content for the department’s social media programs, writing marketing content, reports, presentations and similar assignments, preparing developing and updating content on the department’s website and developing content for traditional media, such as print advertising, brochures and other collateral. Additionally, Ms. Reginald coordinates the development and use of visuals and creative elements, such as photography and videography, organizes, creates and distributes marketing materials and information packages for site selectors and business prospects and tracks and reports on the effectiveness of marketing efforts. 

Ms. Reginald brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications for nonprofits to the Charles County EDD. Prior to joining Charles County, Ms. Reginald worked as a freelance writer and marketer, creating websites using WordPress, blogging and writing magazine articles. Before becoming a full-time freelancer, Ms. Reginald worked as the marketing coordinator for the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases in Alexandria, Virginia, where she coordinated the production of all marketing materials, created and implemented marketing plans, updated web pages, created eblasts and served as the company liaison with the contracted graphic designer.

Ms. Reginald holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana, where she majored in International Studies and minored in Mass Communication and German. During her junior year, she studied abroad at the Universitӓt Osnabrϋck in Osnabrϋck, Germany.

Originally from Indiana, Ms. Reginald moved to southern Maryland in 2004 with her husband, a native of Sri Lanka and an astrophysicist. She loves music, Indian and Sri Lankan cooking, travel and raising her two sons.
