Economic Development Specialist

Phone: 301-885-1340

Lacey Oliver joined the Charles County Economic Development Department (EDD) in 2012 and serves as the administrative support for the entire Department.  Prior to joining EDD, Ms. Oliver worked for the Charles County Government's Department of Planning and Growth Management. Among the many skills that Lacey brings to the team is her experience, vast understanding and use of the County's software, and extensive knowledge of Charles County Government systems, procedures, contacts, and people.

In addition to managing the administrative duties, Lacey is often the face — and voice — of the department as the first point of contact for callers and visitors. She regularly interacts, with the business community, by providing information and assistance.  She posts the Department's web updates, assists with EDD's newsletter, and updates several of the databases used by the Department.

Ms. Oliver holds an Administrative Professional Expert Certification with the Progressive Business Institute, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Ms. Oliver loves the outdoors and spending time with her family.
