Molly Meehan serves as the Agriculture and Rural Development Manager for the Charles County Economic Development Department (EDD). She supports all agricultural and resource-based industries in Charles County with an emphasis on innovative programming and marketing to expand, diversify, and promote the agricultural sector. She develops and builds partnerships with key agricultural stakeholders to support and expand agricultural activities and rural development in the County.

She brings over 20 years of diverse experience in agriculture, including herb and vegetable farming, CSA management, farmer education and training, agritourism, farmers markets, business development, and marketing.

Ms. Meehan holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the SIT Graduate Institute and a Marketing Specialty Certification from Harvard Business School Online.

A Charles County resident, Ms. Meehan lives with her family on a small farmstead and cares deeply about serving and supporting our local agriculture community.
