SBDC: Empowering Local Businesses: Marketing Strategies & Entrepreneurial Support in Allegany County

Join the Small Business Development Center, Allegany County Chamber of Commerce, and Allegany County Department of Economic and Community Development live and in person on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, for an informative session featuring Allegany County Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Ardon Hall. This program will connect local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical tools and expert guidance to help move their ideas and businesses forward. Attendees will gain insight into available resources, hear directly from an experienced entrepreneur, and learn how to tap into support designed specifically for our region. Attendees will have a 30-minute networking lunch at 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by the first session starting promptly at 12:00 p.m. focused on practical marketing guidance and will walk away with: -A simple, actionable marketing plan you can implement immediately -Tips to better reach and engage your ideal customers -Easy, low-cost strategies to increase visibility and sales The second half of the session starting at 12:30 p.m. will introduce the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program and how it can support local businesses through: -Free, one-on-one access to an experienced entrepreneur -Guidance on business strategy, growth, and funding pathways -Connections to valuable state and regional resources The EIR program for Allegany County brings localized support to our business community through Ardon Hall, who works closely with the SBDC and TEDCO to help entrepreneurs navigate challenges and identify opportunities for growth.
