About: Designed as gap financing, the program provides up to $100,000 with a 15-year repayment plan at below-prime interest rates. Funds can be used for working capital, inventory, machinery and equipment purchases, building acquisitions or leasehold improvements, contract financing, and other gap financing needs.

Eligible Applicants: Commercial property owners, contractors, capital providers, municipalities

About: Charles County businesses and commercial property owners may benefit from MDPACE financing when planning energy, water, or sustainability improvements that enhance building performance and reduce long-term expenses.

MDPACE provides 100% up-front financing for eligible upgrades, with repayment made through a long-term surcharge on the property tax bill that can transfer with the sale of the property.
